Hospital Visit

In the summer of 2008, David Richert was able to spend some time at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. David walked through the hospital doors, not as Dale Earnhardt, Michael Schumacher, or another big name racer, but simply walked in wearing his race suit. It made no difference to the children as to them, a race car driver is a race car driver. The kids spent the afternoon coloring race cars, taking pictures and getting autographs signed. It was a treat for not only the children but David as well.
This year with support from The Spirit of Manitoba, David Richert will visit the Winnipeg Children's Hospital and spend time interacting with the kids in an attempt to brighten their day.
